Princess Ball

This was so fun I just had to write about it! Last Saturday I took Gracie to the "Princess Ball". My sister in law Tenille invited us to go and I'm so glad that we did! It was a touring group that came and decorated a local church gymnasium and turned it into a beautiful castle. There was a bridge over a little pond and a wishing well too. All of the Disney Princesses were there dancing and singing for us it was great! We dressed Gracie up in a beautiful dress and a crown that Grandma made. She had gloves and earrings (stickers) and even got to wear a little make up. Grandma came over and helped us to put her hair up. She looked like a princess! She loved getting all dressed up and kept on swishing her dress in the mirror. Oh what fun for me to finally have a girl to go girly things with!
When we got to the Ball Gracie was beaming! We sat at a table with Meme ,Auntie Rachael, Olivia, Aunt Tennile, and Bella. As we watched the show Gracie named each of the Princesses songs and got up and danced whenever she could. We both sang along and had a wonderful time.
Before we went to find her a dress for the ball I asked her what "Princess" she would like to be, Belle, Arial, or Cinderella? She replied "I'm not Ariel! I'm Princess Gracie!" That's my strong and independent Gracie! I told her that she was right and that she is a Princess and that I was a Princess too because we are both daughters of a King!!
