Scotty bench ceremony

Today was a very special day for me. AT Still University faculty and students were greatly impacted from Scott's life and example and put a bench on campus in honor of him. Today was the bench ceremony and together with Emily, my brother Bob and my mom, we put the plaque on the  bench.

This bench is right outside the main entrance of the school and will be a beacon for thousands of students for years to come. Here is what his plaque reads:

"Scott courageously fought brain cancer while attending ATSU as a physicians assistant. He had a great love for God, his family and for others. He worked hard, was kind to everyone and always had an attitude of gratitude. Scott's example consistently taught us that happiness is a choice we can make everyday. He also showed us how important it is to never give up and to live our life with faith over fear."

I miss you and love you Scotty!

Thanks, Jerry
