Driving in my car with my older boys back home from the park about a mile from home after playing tennis with them. They were goofing around and I was explaining why they still needed to wear their seat belt even though we were driving slow on side roads. I tapped the breaks to illustrate my point and poor Jonathan, who was leaning forward and off balance, smacked his nose on the front console and got a terrible bloody nose. I felt horrible. Lucky for me my kids are very forgiving of my parenting blunders.
